Maserati has released its Super Bowl commercial for the Ghibli which has been named simple the Strike.
The 2014th edition of the Super Bowl has recently received a brand new commercial, made by Maserati, which is staring the Ghibli. The clip posted below has been named simple Strike and if you’re expecting a masterpiece, similar to other videos released by carmakers for the Super Bowl, that you will probably be disappointed. Nevertheless, we have to tell you that the new Maserati Ghibli is the first ever vehicle to be wearing the trident badges on its body which is coming with a diesel engine under its hood.
The Maserati Ghibli Diesel is getting a 3.0L turbocharged V6 unit, with 275 HP (202 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 6.3 seconds and the average fuel consumption stands at 6.0L / 100km (47 mpg UK / 39.2 mpg US). The CO2 emissions stop at 160 g/km of CO2 in this version. Besides the diesel engine, the Maserati Ghibli is also coming with a 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo gasoline burner, which is good for 330 HP and 500 Nm of torque. Both of them are getting an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
