[VIDEO] Maserati is releasing new videos with the 2014 Quattroporte

The Italian based automaker Maserati has recently released new official videos with the sixth generation of the Quattroporte model.

After the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte has been officially unveiled just a day before writing this article, the large and luxurious sedan is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the car manufacturer releasing more official videos with the model. Maserati says that the new generation of the Quattroporte will drop 50 kg from its kerb weight, which will remain at 1,940 kg, and it will use a new steel monocoque chassis, growing in length from 5,042 mm to 5,200 mm.

The new generation of the Maserati Quattroporte will use a Ferrari developed 4.7 liter V8 engine at the time of its launch, which will produce a total output of 453 horsepower. The carmaker says that the unit will emit lower CO2 emissions and its fuel economy will be improved significantly. The engine will be mated to an XF automatic transmission. Additional details on the sixth generation of the Maserati Quattroporte will be announced next year at the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, where the company will officially unveil the model.
