Chris Harris has recently went for a spin with the all-new McLaren 12C Spider and what came out of that can be seen in the video posted below.
After being unveiled just a few months ago, the McLaren 12C Spider is entering our news once again, this time with the famous automotive journalist Chris Harris going for a spin in the supercar. Chris Harris has chosen the Ascari track in Spain in order to test the newest production car signed by McLaren. The British based automaker is saying that the 12C Spider is getting the same 3.8 liter twin turbo engine as the Coupe, which is producing a total output of 625 PS.
The unit is mated to a seven-speed SSG dual clutch transmission which is allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, the same as the Coupe, and do a quarter mile in 10.8 seconds at a top speed of 216 km/h (134 mph). The McLaren 12C Spider is burning an average of 11.7 liters of fuel every 100 km and it’s emitting 270 g/km of CO2. The first deliveries of the McLaren 12C Spider will start next month (November).
