A new video with the McLaren 12C Spider has just been released by the British based automaker, revealing the supercar on the track.
After it was officially presented to the public not more than a week ago and with the model being already available for its future customers in several markets across the globe, the McLaren 12C Spider is once again entering our news, this time with the car manufacturer revealing it on the track and not only, with the help of the new promotional video released.
The McLaren 12C Spider is the drop top version of the McLaren MP4-12C and the supercar is powered by the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine as its Coupe brother, producing a total output of 625 PS sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed SSG dual-clutch transmission. The McLaren 12C Spider can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 second (the same as the Coupe) and it can do a quarter mile in 10.8 seconds at a top speed of 216 km/h (134 mph).
McLaren is saying that the 12C Spider is burning an average of 11.7 liters of fuel every 100 km (24,2 mpg EU), which is actually the same as its solid roof brother, and the CO2 emissions stop at 270 g/km. the McLaren 12C Spider is available at 38 McLaren retailers in 22 countries across the globe and first deliveries of the supercar will start in November.
