The all-new McLaren 12C Spider has been recently tested by the guys at Car&Driver and what came out can be seen in the video posted below.
The McLaren 12C Spider is being placed into the spotlights once again and after being officially presented to the public earlier this year, the British supercar is now being tested by Car&Driver. The McLaren 12C Spider is the drop top version of the MP4-12C and the supercar is being powered by the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine as the Coupe, which is producing a total output of 625 PS, sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed SSG dual clutch transmission.
McLaren says that the 12C Spider can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, the same as the MP4-12C, and the quarter mile is done in 10.8 seconds at a top speed of 216 km/h (134 mph). The 12C Spider is burning an average of 11.7 liters of fuel every 100 km and it’s emitting 270 g/km of CO2. The McLaren drop top is available at the company’s retailers in 22 countries across the globe and the first deliveries will start in November.
