A new clip with the brand new McLaren 570S has recently hit the web and it is showing some driving footage with the cheapest and smallest model to be signed by the British brand.
After being officially unveiled during the 2015 New York Auto Show, in a world premiere, a few weeks ago, the McLaren 570S is now returning into our attention, this time with the help of a clip. The video, which has been posted below, right after the jump, is showing us some driving footage of the sports car and if you are looking towards adding such a model to your garage, than you should definitely check it out.
The McLaren 570S is a smaller, cheaper, lighter and less powerful version of the 650S and it is the company’s attempt to going up against models such as the Porsche 911, the Mercedes AMG GT or the Jaguar F-Type, amongst others. This still remains a hot ride considering the fact that it has been constructed using parts from its larger brother.
Some of the features found on the vehicle include the carbon ceramic brakes, covered by the 19- and 20-inch front-to-rear wheels, the new front and rear suspension system with adaptive dampers and several other tweaks. The most important characteristic of the sports car is found under its hood, where the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine is found, from the MP4-12C, 12C Spider, 650S, 650S Spider, 675LT and P1. The mid-mounted unit and RWD is allowing the model to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2s and to go up to 328 km/h (204 mph).
