[VIDEO] McLaren 650S accelerates from 0 to 300 km/h
A McLaren 650S has been recently taken to a speed of up to 300 km/h and the whole “attempt” has been recorded on video.
After showing you the Lamborghini Huracan accelerating from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) just a few hours ago, time has come to talk about one of its main rivals, the McLaren 650S. The British supercar has been also taken from 0 to 300 km/h and this has been caught on camera. The McLaren 650S has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and it has replaced the MP4-12C. The supercar is still being offered in two body styles and is has a front fascia similar to the one of the P1 and a rear end which resembles the one of the MP4-12C. The McLaren 650S is taking its power form the same 3.8 liter V8 engine, which has been upgraded and it is now producing a total output of 651 HP (478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque.
The Japanese automaker has prepared seven tuned models, all of them scheduled to make their official public debut during the Tokyo Auto Salon scheduled to begin on January 9.
