Monza track has recently held an epic track day called the “Pure McLaren” where a selection of 650S supercars, and not only, have hit the circuit.
The McLaren 650S is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time after several units have been caught tackling Monza. The video posted below has been shot at an epic track day at the Monza circuit and named the “Pure McLaren”. During the event, several 650S supercars have hit the track, so if you wanted to see the model in question in action than you have come to the right place, because the video can be seen right below.
McLaren has unveiled the new 650S during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The model should have sit between the MP4-12C and the P1 at first but it ended up replacing the MP4-12C. The supercar has a front fascia similar to the one of the P1 and a rear end resembling the MP4-12C and it’s offered with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. Power is coming from a 3.8L V8 with 641 HP (478 kW) and 680 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The 650S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 333 km/h (207 mph).
