McLaren has released a new teaser video with the 675LT which will be officially presented to the public next month, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere.
McLaren’s newest creation is called the 675LT and this will be a hotter version of the 650S, which was unveiled almost a year ago, in Geneva, and it will be basically the opposite of the 625C, aimed towards the Asian continent. The model in question has been optimized for added performance and weight savings and the clip posted below is showing us the two circular pipes, going through the exposed body work, which have been apparently developed specifically for the supercar in question.
The McLaren 675LT will also get the Long Tail body configuration which is a reminder of the F1 GTR Long Tail, shown back in 1997. The supercar in question is believed to be lighter than the current 650S and it will be packing in a 3.8 liter V8 twin turbo engine, which will be more powerful than the one of the upcoming Sports Series, more powerful than the one of the already available 650S but less powerful than the one of the range topping and extremely impressive P1 hypercar. The unit on the new McLaren model is expected to produce a total of 675 HP (497 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, which will make it 25 HP (18 kW) and 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) of torque more powerful than the 650S. Additional details on the 675LT will be announced, most likely, in Geneva.
