McLaren has officially released the first promotional video with the recently unveiled 675LT.
After being introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere, the brand new McLaren 675LT is the subject of a new video, which is basically its first promo. The model in question is reminding us of the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Long Tail (LT) and it is coming with carbon fiber shelled bucket seats, with the 675LT logo on the headrests, with air conditioning controls incorporated into the touch screen infotainment system, with the 675LT logo on the rev counter and with four new exterior colors which include the Napier Green, the Silica White, the Chicane Grey or the Delta Red.
Some of the exterior components, such as the door latches or the side mirror casings, can be customized and the model is available with a total of 16 different colors and shades, with two wheel options, the super lightweight forged and the ultra lightweight forged. The model is also getting Alcantara for the cabin and it is taking its power from the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine which is used on the regular 650S, on the long gone MP4-12C and on the range topping P1 hypercar. In the 675LT, this unit is producing a total of 675 HP and it has a peak torque of 700 Nm, meaning 25 HP and 22 Nm more than the standard 650S. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) the supercar needs 2.9s and it can go up to 330 km/h (205 mph).
