A McLaren MP4-12C supercar has been recently caught on the Nurburgring with its vanity plates.
Being a petrol head can be fun but being a wealthy petrol head is like waking up every day like a spoiled kid in Christmas morning. The British supercar in the video below has been caught on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, while it was being driven by a guy from Sweden, who bought his MP4-12C new personalized license plates that say “McLaren”, just in case people were wondering what that “weird” orange supercar is.
As a small reminder, the 2012 McLaren MP4-12C is powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine which is generating a total output of 592 horsepower at 7.000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 443 lb-ft available between 3.000 and 7.000 rpm. The engine is allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds, before stopping at its 205 mph top speed. McLaren actually says that the Corsa tire option cuts down 0.2 seconds from the 0 to 62 mph acceleration time. The MP4-12C can do a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 134 mph.
