The McLaren P1 has been taken to the Top Gear test track not too long ago where the supercar was driven by Sergio Checo Perez.
The British based automaker has recently released a new video with the McLaren P1 where the supercar is being shown on the Top Gear test track, while being driven by the company’s driver Sergio Checo Perez. McLaren didn’t announce when this video was taken but considering the fact that the model seen in it is wearing some camouflage on its body, we can definitely say that this was before its official unveil during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, earlier this month.
As a quick reminder, the McLaren P1 is a hybrid supercar which is powered by the 3.8 liter twin-turbo engine, found on the MP4-12C and 12C Spyder, which has been upgraded in order to produce 747 HP (542 kW) and 720 Nm of torque. The units is helped by an electric motor, which is providing 179 HP (132 kW) and 260 Nm of torque (192 lb-ft), to a total of 916 HP (674 kW). The McLaren P1 is a direct rival for the brand new Ferrari LaFerrari and the upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder. The model has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
