A small convoy of McLaren P1s has been spotted recently while going to the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
It is the most exclusive of the three and it has been sold out completely. We’re talking about the McLaren P1 which is now returning in a fresh video. The footage is showing us a convoy of the British hypercar on the road, on their way to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and surprisingly, they have put on quite a show. The McLaren P1 is a rival for the Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 918 Spyder. It has made its public debut a couple of years ago, in its final production form, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This has a two-door coupe body style and a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The hypercar is making use of an updated 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, rated at 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque in this case, backed up by an electric motor, developed in-house, generating 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque. The total output stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm which his enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). The McLaren P1 has been produced in 375 units.
