McLaren has recently released a new video with the impressive P1, where the hybrid supercar is being shown on ice, in some cold weather testing.
The newest creation in McLaren’s lineup, the P1, which is considered to be the official successor of the iconic McLaren F1, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a video which is showing the supercar testing in cold weather. The footage posted below has been recently released by the British based automaker and, considering by its camouflaged body, this was initially filmed back when no one outside the company knew what the model would look like.
As a quick reminder, the McLaren P1 is the company’s first ever production hybrid supercar. The model is powered by a 3.8 liter V8 engine, producing 747 HP and 720 Nm of torque, helped by a 179 HP and 260 Nm of torque electric motor. Total output stands at 916 HP. The P1 is rivaling the Ferrari LaFerrari and the upcoming Porsche 918 Spyder. The supercar has been officially presented to the public, in a world premiere, during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, back in March.
