The McLaren P1 has been spied once again and the video posted below is showing the British supercar testing on public roads.
The McLaren P1 is being placed into the spotlights once again and after it was officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2012 Paris Motor Show, back in September, the video posted below is revealing some driving footage of what is said to be a prototype. That isn’t all the footage is showing and this is actually the first time we can see a part of the interior design. He McLaren P1 is the official successor of the iconic F1 and the model will be placed above the MP4-12C and the 12C Spyder in terms of price and performance.
The newest British supercar to enter McLaren’s lineup, the P1, will get the same engine as the two models mentioned above, the 3.8 liter turbo, but thanks to some modifications, the unit will produce an extra 120 HP. McLaren says that the P1 will challenge the Bugatti Veyron in terms of speed and the model is expected to become the fastest accelerating car in the world. The final production version of the McLaren P1 will be officially presented to the public at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March and only 500 units are expected to be produced.
