[VIDEO] McLaren P12 (F1 successor) teased for Paris Motor Show image

The McLaren P12 is being teased in a first official video ahead of its public debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.

The McLaren P12, which will be the official successor of the iconic F1 supercar, has started its public life in late 2011, when rumors have appeared which were saying that it should hit the market this year. But that didn’t happen and the British based automaker is still keeping the McLaren P12 a secret.

A first video teaser with the upcoming supercar to wear the McLaren logos on its body has been recently released, but don’t get your hopes too high because the footage isn’t providing even the smallest design feature of the supercar.

Rumors are saying that the McLaren P12 will be powered by the same engine from the MP4-12C and from the 12C Spyder, the 3.8 liter V8 Turbo, which, thanks to some tweaks, will provide an extra 120 HP. No more details on the McLaren P12 are known for the moment so we will have to wait for the 2012 Paris Motor Show in order to find out more about the upcoming British supercar. Meanwhile you can check the video below. Enjoy!
