The German based automaker Volkswagen has recently released a new promotional video with the 2013 Golf R Cabrio.
As you can see from the footage posted below, the 2013 Volkswagen Golf R Cabrio is looking basically identical to the concept car which was officially presented to the public last year, at the GTI Worthersee. The production version of the 2013 Volkswagen Golf R Cabrio is coming with an aggressive front fascia, with new side skirts, with LED daytime running lights, with gloss black accents, with a dual exhaust system and with the Talladega style alloy wheels, to complete the looks.
Changes for the cabin are limited and they include the flat bottom steering wheel, the embroidered leathers seats or the R badging Volkswagen didn’t release any more details on the 2013 Golf R Cabrio but the model is expected to get a 2.0 liter petrol engine under its hood, which should produce a total output of 270 HP (199 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft). The drop top should accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than six seconds, before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
