Nissan has recently pulled the wraps off the 2014 model year GT-R, revealing an updated supercar in terms of performance and looks.
The Nissan GT-R is probably one of the most iconic cars which made its appearance over the past few years, thanks to its impressive performance, handling, equipment level and looks, all offered at a price which can’t be beaten by its main rivals. But the Japanese supercar is now getting an updated for the 2014 model year and the carmaker says that the GT-R is even hotter.
According to the Japanese based automaker, the 3.8 liter V6 twin turbocharged engine has been upgraded with new oil pan baffle, new relief valve and new high output injectors, which have been designed to be more concise to control fuel injection. The result is an improvement in mid-range and high rpm response.
Besides these upgrades, the 2014 Nissan GT-R is also getting some improvement to the chassis including the anti roll bar, the springs, the improved suspension and body rigidity and more. The 2014 Nissan GT-R will go on sale on its local auto market starting with the 19th of November, 2012, and next year, the supercar is scheduled to hit both Europe and the United States. Specifications for these two continents will be announced close to the model’s launch.
