An extremely impressive supercar called the Devel Sixteen has been recently unveiled, in a premiere, during the 2013 Dubai International Motor Show.
One of the most impressive debuts at this year’s edition of the Dubai International Motor Show is the so-called Devel Sixteen. The hypercar in question can be described as a cross between Lamborghini’s newest creation, the Veneno, the Pagani Zonda and probably a fighter jet, considering the fact that it has two large exhaust pipes which look like supersonic engines. Its sharp lines have been probably made in a wind tunnel, but this doesn’t look as it can reach more than 200 or 250 km/h without losing some body panels.
The claimed power of the Devel Sixteen is believed to come from a massive V16 engine, which is allegedly producing a total output of 5,000 HP, basically almost five times more than what Bugatti is offering from the Veyron’s W16 unit. The impressive figure will allow the hypercar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 1.8 seconds and it could reach a top speed of 560 km/h (348 mph). Chances are that this is a simple hoax, unless the company producing the Devel Sixteen has found some kind of alternative fuel, providing some unheard before high octane figure.
