Mercedes-Benz has just released a walkaround video with the brand new AMG GT, in which some interesting parts of it are being highlighted.
The Mercedes AMG GT is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new clip, which has been released by the German based automaker. The video posted below is not actually revealing anything we don’t know already, but it is part of a good marketing scheme. as you probably already know by now, the AMG GT has replaced the old SLS AMG, despite being smaller, cheaper and less powerful than its predecessor.
The Mercedes AMG GT is taking its power from a brand new 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is also used on the C63 AMG. The unit is capable of producing, in the entry-level version, no less than 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 4.0 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph). The AMG GT S is getting 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 3.8 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 310 km/h (193 mph).
