Another spy video with the upcoming Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabrio has hit the web and it is showing another prototype version of the upcoming vehicle being driven around.
Ever since Mercedes-Benz has officially pulled the wraps off the S63 AMG Coupe, the 3-pointed star’s fans have kept asking about a convertible version and with the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show coming in pretty fast, chances are we will get to see it during the German automotive event. The model in question has been captured on camera once again and it is being shown with a lot of camouflage on its body, so don’t expect to find out more about it from the clip posted below.
The brand new Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabrio will be coming with an electrically retractable soft top, instead of the fixed metal roof of the coupe, and the total weight of the car might slightly increase. Under its hood, the same 5.5 liter V8 twin turbo engine will be found, producing a total output of 577 HP (430 kW) and a peak torque of 900 Nm (664 lb-ft). From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the vehicle will need approximately 4.3 / 4.4 seconds. This will be joined eventually by the range-topping version, the S65 AMG Cabrio. Additional details on the model are limited at this point and will be announced at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, where the vehicle will be making its public debut, in mid-September.
