After being officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class is once again placed into the spotlights, this time by releasing a promotional video with the model hitting the roads. The German based automaker says that the 2013 A-Class will be offered in three different variants: Urban, Style and ANG, with the latter coming with a revised suspension, red styling accents, unique front axle and 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the new generation of the A-Class will be offered with a variety of engines and we will start with the petrols, like the 1.6 liter and 2.0 liters, with outputs between 113 HP (A 180) to 154 HP (A 200), and we will move on to the diesels, announcing that the A 180 CDI is coming with 108 HP and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) while the A 200 CDI is offering 134 HP and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. Last but not least, the A 220 CDI is coming with a 2.2 liter diesel engine, which is developing a total output of 168 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 350 Nm (258 lb-ft). The transmission can be either a six-speed manual or a 7G-DCT dual-clutch automatic. The 2013 A-Class will hit the dealerships in September 2012.
