A new teaser video with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz AMG GT has been officially released, confirming its official unveil scheduled for the 9th of September.
Mercedes-Benz’s newest sports car, the AMG GT, is being highlighted once more, this time with the help of a new teaser video, which is showing several test mules in a lot of different environments, but the main purpose is the reminder that this will be officially unveiled on September 9. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will basically replace the SLS AMG but it will be smaller, lighter, cheaper and less powerful than the impressive grand tourer.
The new vehicle will be powered by the newly unveiled 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 510 HP (375 kW), in the base version, or 462 HP (340 kW) in the AMG GT-S. Rumors are saying that a top of the line Black Series version of the AMG GT will be introduced too, but things are unknown for the moment. More details on the sports car will be announced once it will be officially unveiled, on the 9th of September, or even during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October, when it will be making its public debut.
