The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz has released a new video with the upcoming AMG GT, which is highlighting the sports car’s “insane acceleration”.
In case you thought that teaser images and videos of the new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will be rarely released, since we already have an unveil date, think again, because the model in question is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new clip, which is highlighting its performance and saying words like “insane acceleration”. The words are being spoken by Tobias Moers, the AMG CEO.
As I’m pretty sure you already know, the new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will replace the SLS AMG and it will be lighter, smaller, less powerful and cheaper than the already available supercar. The vehicle will be powered by a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is rated at 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. This could allow the new coupe to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and to reach a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph). The model will be making its public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October, and it will go on sale locally in March, next year.
