The brand new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT has been recently filmed while being tested out on the Nurburgring.
Just a day after the first official teaser has been released, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a video. The clip posted below is showing the new German sports car while being tested out on the Nurburgring so if you would like to see it in action, all you have to do is scroll down and click the play button. Keep in mind that this is just a test mule and the final product may be quite different.
Mercedes-Benz is currently replacing the SLS AMG with the new AMG GT but the new sports car will be smaller, less powerful and cheaper than the current model. The AMG GT is believed to use a 4.0 liter V8 engine which, in the entry-level version, will produce approximately 480 HP (358 kW). In the mid-range, this will be good for 520 HP (387 kW) and in the Black Series it will go up to 580 HP. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT will rival models like the Porsche 911. The vehicle is believed to be unveiled during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this fall.
