[VIDEO] Mercedes-Benz CLA and CLA45 AMG get first official images

The very first official images with the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA and CLA45 AMG have been recently released by the German based automaker.

The newest model in Mercedes-Benz’s lineup, the CLA, is entering our news for the first time in an official “way” with the carmaker releasing the very first images with the model and with its high performance version, the CLA45 AMG. Even if the two versions are presented with camouflage on their bodies, we can still see some of their lines. Mercedes-Benz says that both the CLA and the CLA45 AMG are coming with the 4Matic AWD system, but in standard, the regular CLA will get FWD, thanks to the MFA platform.

The Mercedes-Benz CLA is riding, just like we said above, on the all-new MFA platform, which was also adopted by the new generation of the A-Class, as well as the new generation of the B-Class, but unlike the new A-Class, the CLA is longer is wider. The two models are also sharing some engines and technical components. The most expected version of the CLA is the CLA45 AMG, which will get the same engine as the A45 AMG under its hood, the 350 HP 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit. The CLA45 AMG will make its public debut next year, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
