The first spy video with the facelifted version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake has hit the web.
A few years after its official introduction, the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake has reached its midlife cycle and the car manufacturer is trying to keep it into the game by performing a facelift. The clip posted below is the first one to reveal the updated variant of the compact vehicle and with the 2015th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show coming in pretty fast, we can say that the model will most likely debut in mid-September. A slightly camouflaged prototype of the car is being shown in the video but don’t expect any dramatic changes applied.
The 3-pointed star will probably receive the same changes as the ones of the updated A-Class and we expect to see updated front and rear bumpers, a different look for the lighting units, some tweaks made to the cabin which will get a revised infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch free-standing display, galvanized switches, a modified instrument cluster and so on. The optional bi-xenon headlights will be dropped from the lineup and these will be replaced by LEDs. The same technology will also be used on the interior ambient lighting. We’re not expecting any mechanical upgrades performed to the model. Additional details on it are limited at this point and will probably be announced during the German automotive event, next month.
