The brand new Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake has been recently taken on to the famous German track the Nurburgring, where it was being tested out.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz will soon be introducing a second body style of the CLA, after the elegant and small four-door coupe, the Shooting Brake. The model in question will be inspired, once again, by its larger brother, the CLS Shooting Brake, and it will have the same common elements with the already available four-door CLA and also with the new A-Class hatchback and with the GLA crossover.
Because of its styling, changes are that it will limit its practicality but thanks to the larger rear doors, access to the rear seats will be improved. As far as the engine lineup goes, this will include the 1.5 liter diesel with 109 HP (80 kW), the 1.8 liter diesel with 136 HP (100 kW), the 2.1 liter diesel producing 170 HP (125 kW), the 1.6 liter petrol with 122 HP (90 kW) and 156 HP (115 kW) and the 2.0 liter petrol with 211 HP (155 kW). The CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake will be introduced too, with its 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, rated at 360 HO (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.
