Mercedes-Benz is currently testing out the new CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake as the model in question has been recently caught on camera while quietly sitting around in a parking lot.
The Mercedes-Benz CLA is following the same path as its larger brother, the CLS, which introduced the CLS Shooting Brake a few years back. The five-door version of the model is no longer a surprise for anyone as it has been in development for a few months and it has been spied numerous times. The newest spy video is showing the top of the line CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake while quietly sitting around in a parking lot, with some camouflage added to its body.
The model in question will get the same underpinnings as its four-door coupe brother, the same interior design and the same engine, in the same configuration. The only thing different will be the rear end which will grow in size and it will also provide some more legroom to the rear passengers. The engine used will be the 2.0 liter turbocharged I4, with 355 HP (265 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, available between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm. Chances are the CLA45 AMG Shooting Brake will be unveiled during the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October.
