[VIDEO] Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake gets new promo
Mercedes-Benz has recently released a new promotional video with the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake which is characterizing its rivals as “imitators”.
The German based automaker is currently referring to the competition of the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake as “imitators” in this latest promotional video and even if it doesn’t point its finger at some particular model, our guess is that it’s talking about the Audi A7, the BMW 7-Series Gran Coupe or even the Porsche Panamera. We can hear Phil Collins’ “In the air tonight” song playing in the background in this latest promotional video.
The Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake is powered by the well-known 5.5 liter bi-turbo V8 engine, which is producing a total output of 525 HP and 700 Nm of torque, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. The Edition 1 will be available as well and this will offer 557 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. The unit is mated to the AMG transmission and the more powerful version is doing the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 4.3 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h for both versions. The Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake has been officially presented to the public at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September
