The upcoming Mercedes-Benz E-Class Wagon facelift was recently caught on camera while being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
The German based automaker Mercedes-Benz might try to keep the upcoming E-Class Wagon facelift into the shadows for the moment, just like the 2014 E-Class AMG, which was photographed just a few days ago with no camouflage on its body, but that doesn’t mean that the company isn’t working on these new models and the video posted below, where the E-Class Wagon can be seen going around the Ring, is the best example.
The camouflaged version of the wagon is showing some heavy modifications for a facelift, like the different lower grille, the one-piece headlights, the different design on the front bumper, the revised taillights or the modified rear bumper. The engine lineup is rumored to remain the same and this means that it will include the 3.5 liter V6 unit with 333 HP, the 4.6 liter turbocharged V8 with its 435 HP or the 4.4 liter turbo V8 with 537 HP, along with the new Renault-sourced 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine, producing 156 HP, which will be used on the entry-level version of the model. The E-Class Wagon facelift will be unveiled sometimes in 2013.
