One of the hottest off-roaders introduced in the past few years is this Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 and even if it has been apparently sold out, it still manages to capture our attention almost every time it is being spotted doing something different. The newest info on the six-wheeled version of the G63 AMG is coming from the video posted below in which the model in question can be seen tackling a mountain, so if you are an off-roader or a Mercedes-Benz fan, make sure you scroll down and click the play button.
As you probably already know by now, the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG has been sold in more than 100 units and it seems that the company has pulled the plug on it, which means that it will only become more and more expensive, in time. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t have a successor because the carmaker has introduced the G500 4×4 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, recently, which is a four-wheel version, of the six-wheel version of the four-wheel version which has been around for years. Keep in mind that the 6-wheeled vehicle has a 5.5 liter bi-turbo AMG V8 engine under its hood, which is producing a total of 544 HP (400 kW) and 758 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7 seconds and to go up to a top speed of 160 km/h (100 mph).
