Mercedes-Benz has recently released a new promotional video with the 2013 G63 AMG model which is revealing some interesting driving footage of the model in just any terrain possible.
After it was officially presented to the public earlier this year, the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is being placed into the spotlights once more, this time with the German based automaker revealing some interesting off-roading in the latest video with the G63 AMG. The footage is quite good but what we don’t get is the music and that’s because we were close to falling asleep a few times when watching the video so we decided to click play with no sound, which we suggest you do too.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG is actually replacing the G55’s supercharged 5.4 liter V8 engine with a new 5.5 liter twin turbocharged with direct injection V8 unit, which is developing a total output of 536 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 561 lb-ft. In the same configuration but without the turbochargers, the engine is generating 382 HP and 391 lb-ft of torque. Standard features found on the new G63 AMG include the Blind Spot Assist, Parktronic parking aid, adaptive cruise control and revised electronic stability system with Trailer Stability Assist and hill-hold function. The model has a starting price of 137,504.50 euros in Germany.
