Mercedes-Benz has released a new video with the GLA 45 AMG, placing it into the spotlights ahead of its public debut which will take place in Detroit, later on today.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG is entering our news once again, after it was officially unveiled just a few days ago, with the help of an official video, which is showing it from several angles and it’s also revealing it in action, on the road. The model in question has received an aggressive body kit, a high performance braking system, an AMG sports suspension, Artico / Dinamica sport seats, brushed aluminum trim, a flat bottom steering wheel and more.
As far as the engine goes, the most powerful version of the GLA crossover is getting a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit under its hood, which is also used on the A 45 AMG and on the CLA 45 AMG. The total output produced by the engine stands at 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission, which is sending power to the AMG 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.8 seconds and top speed stands at 250 km/h (155 mph).
