A series of prototypes of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC have been caught on camera while being tested out in Germany.
There is no surprise anymore that Mercedes-Benz is getting ready to introduce a brand new GLC mid-sized crossover as the model in question has been already caught on camera several times by now while it was being tested out. The newest spy video is showing the model in its local market, in a prototype version. The final production variant of the GLC will be officially unveiled on the 17th of June, in its home land, and it will be coming with a curvy look. In case you have forgotten all about this vehicle, keep in mind that it is nothing more than a simple replacement of the current GLK.
The Mercedes-Benz GLC will be riding on the same platform as the new generation of the C-Class and it will slightly grow in size in order to make room for its smaller brother, the compact GLA. Expect the same familiar front fascia, along with the interior design borrowed from the C-Class and the engine lineup which will be also carried over from the same model. If this will be officially unveiled on the 17th of July, chances are the carmaker will open the order books for it this fall, probably after the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, where it is expected to make its public debut. Additional details on the new GLC are limited at this time.
