Mercedes-Benz has released the teaser video for the upcoming GLE 63 AMG Coupe, which will be officially presented to the public next week, at the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit.
After a lot of spy shots partially revealing it, the Mercedes GLE 63 AMG Coupe is getting ready to be officially unveiled, as the event will take place at the 2015 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. The model in question is being teased in a new video which is highlighting its debut at the over-seas automotive event.
The new Mercedes GLE 63 AMG Coupe is basically a rival for the BMW X6 M. The model in question has received a series of tweaks on its exterior design and, besides the AMG badges, the cabin is expected to be different too than that of the regular model. Rumor has it that the SAV will be getting the same engine under its hood as the AMG GT.
The unit in question will be the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8, which is expected to produce approximately 462 HP and 600 Nm of torque, which is similar to the one on the sports car. Considering the fact that the AMG GT S has 510 HP and 650 Nm of torque, chances of the engine producing even more are quite real. We are not sure what to expect really from the unit but we will find out for sure on Monday, during the 2015 NAIAS, in Detroit, where the model will be making its public debut.
