Another spy video with the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe is showing the powerful luxury two-door car on the Nurburgring, where it was recently tested by the carmaker.
The development of the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe isn’t taking anyone by surprise and it seems that the German based automaker is getting closer and closer to finally pulling the wraps off the model. The power two-door luxury car has been spied once more while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, and the video in question can be seen below, right after the jump.
The brand new Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe will use a 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which will be mated to a seven-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT sports transmission. The total output which will be produced by the powertrain will stand at approximately 585 HP (436 kW). This means that the vehicle will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 4 seconds, while the top speed is believed to be electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). The Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe is expected to make its public debut sometimes in 2014. More details on the model will be announced close to its debut.
