Mercedes-Benz has recently released a new video with the all-new SLS AMG Black Series, revealing the supercar’s development process, from a pile of mud to the incredible machine.
After it was officially presented to the public just a few weeks ago, the all-new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a brand new video with the model. The footage posted below is revealing the development process of the supercar, being transformed from a pile of mud to the incredible machine it is. The 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series has been inspired by the racing version and it can be differentiated by its darkened taillights and headlamps, and by other minor tweaks.
The most powerful version of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series yet is powered by the same 6.2 liter V8 engine, which is now producing a total output of 622 HP (464 kW) and 634 Nm of torque (468 lb-ft), achieved thanks to the new air intake, cam shafts, improved oil and water cooling and to some other tweaks. Mercedes-Benz says that the SLS AMG Black Series can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph). The supercar is burning 13.7 liters of fuel every 100 km and it’s emitting 321 g/km of CO2. The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series will enter production in mid-2013.
