The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series has been spied testing once again on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
After it was caught on camera a couple of times until now while being tested, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is ending up in our news once again, this time with a new spy video, which is revealing the German supercar testing on the Nurburgring, in its home country. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is expected to pack the same engine as the new SLS AMG GT, but thanks to some minor tweaks, which include a reprogrammed ECU, the unit will provide more power.
Rumors are saying that the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series will get 630 HP (463 kW) from the 6.2 liter AMG V8 engine, which will be enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.4 seconds, compared to the 3.7 seconds which the SLS AMG GT needs to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h). The exterior design of the supercar will get a similar look to the SLS AMG GT3 45 Anniversary Edition, which will include the modified bumpers, the carbon fiber center scoop and some other tweaks, including the SL65 AMG Black Series similar interior.
