[Video] Mercedes makes a comeback to show the C Class Cabriolet in moving footage image

The German automaker, the second largest in the world in the luxury segment, has decided to increase hype for its upcoming C Class Cabriolet by releasing a video teaser ahead of next week’s official premiere during the Geneva Motor Show.

We’re being pretty much assaulted by the C Class Cabriolet and this time around Mercedes is treating us to a short video – the teaser showcasing the AIRCAP automatic wind protection system. This is only logical since the winter is not over yet and during spring gusts of cold wind may seriously harm the health of very wealthy buyers. By the way, in the clip we can also see the front side of the roadster, which is actually no surprise at all since it’s virtually identical to the coupe version. We’re still giving kudos to Mercedes for using the fabric roof instead of a retractable hard top, for that classic, vintage look.

Since we’re talking about a close relative of the C Class Coupe, the Convertible version will be wearing the same powertrains which are tipped to go all the way up to the AMG C 43 with 362-horsepower 3.0 V6 and flagship C63 that will bring to the table a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo with 503 hp. The styling language will have most lines directly taken from the coupe and thus we’ll get treated to the same front end, short front overhang and sporty side profile. The interior will also be very close to the coupe and have four individual seats and the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system.
