The newest sports car in Mercedes’ lineup, the AMG GT, is the star of the brand new Super Bowl ad, released by the car manufacturer.
We are quite sure by now that most of you have gotten used to some weird Super Bowl car ads and not only, over the years, but every once in a while we get one which is worth mentioning, even though “cliché” is the only word that pops in my mind after watching it. However, we won’t be spoilers and tell you all about it, because that makes no sense, so in order to find out what this is about, you should scroll down and click the play button. Hint: it’s staring the AMG GT.
The Mercedes AMG GT has been officially unveiled back in September, last year, and since then has been brought to a lot of automotive events across the globe. The model in question is basically a replacement of the SLS AMG but this is smaller, lighter, less powerful and also cheaper. Under its hood we can find a newly developed 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is capable of producing a total of 462 HP (339 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) in the AMG GT or 510 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque in the more expensive AMG GT S. The sports car has a starting price of 115,430 euros in Germany and the AMG GT S Edition 1 costs 134,351 euros.
