The British based automaker MINI has released a new presentation video with the JCW (John Cooper Works) GP.
After it was officially unveiled last month during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, the new MINI JCW GP is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing yet a new official video with the model. The MINI JCW GP is the most powerful production car ever signed by the company and the model is getting an aerodynamic body kit, tinted xenon headlights, a Thunder Grey metallic paint and 17-inch alloy wheels. The cabin has received an antharacite roof line, a thick-rimmed steering wheel, a tubular brace instead of the rear bench, piano black trim, metallic accents and Recaro seats.
The MINI JCW GP is powered by the company’s 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine, which is developing a total output of 211 BHP (157 kW) and 280 Nm of torque (207 lb-ft). The unit is mated to a six-speed manual transmission which is allowing the hot hatch to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h (60 mph) in 5.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 241 km/h (150 mph). Only 2,000 units of the MINI JCW GP are available worldwide.
