A new review of the BMW M3 in its latest version is coming from Motor Trend as the journalists are trying to answer some pretty heavy questions.
BMW M3 fans will be glad to know that there is another review of their favorite car out there which has been signed by Motor Trend. The automotive journalists from over-seas seem to enjoy the new performance sedan and you should do it too, despite the fact it has dropped its V8, but who really needs a V8 under their hoods unless they’re driving on the track? The new 6-cylinder unit is promising better performance and lower fuel consumption, so this is a pretty good compromise.
Speaking of the BMW M3’s new engine we must tell you that this is a 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder inline. The unit is producing a total output of 431 HP (317 kW) and it has a peak torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft), sent to the rear wheels through the seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The same engine in the same configuration is also used on the BMW M4 Coupe. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint takes just 4.1 seconds and top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
At least 10 million vehicles were recalled by Toyota back in 2009 and 2010 for the “unintended acceleration” issue and so far GM has made 67 separate recall actions with almost 30 million vehicles due back in service.
