The guys at Motor Trend have recently had the chance of driving the new generation of the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and what came out of that can be seen in the video posted below.
The brand new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a new video, which is showing Motor Trend’s test drive. The footage posted below is showing some interesting action with the new Corvette Stingray so if you’re interested in buying the car, or you simply like it, you should definitely check out the video in question.
As a quick reminder, the new Corvette generation has been priced from just over 50,000 USD over-seas, while in the United Kingdom, prices for the muscle car will be set at 61,500 GBP. The vehicle is powered, in both markets, by the same 6.2 liter LT1 V8 engine, which is good for 460 BHP (343 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 630 Nm of torque (465 lb-ft), available at 4,600 rpm. The unit is mated to a seven-speed manual transmission with active rev matching. The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint is done in less than 4 seconds.
