This particular McLaren P1, signed by MSO, has been spotted around cruising the London streets and attracting a lot of attention.
Capturing a McLaren P1 on camera is quite a challenge, considering the fact that only 375 examples of the hypercar have been put together, but seeing one which has been signed by MSO is even trickier. This particular model has been spotted cruising the streets of London and it can be seen in the video posted below.
The McLaren P1 is the spiritual successor of the iconic F1. The hypercar was shown, in its final production form, at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, along with one of its main rivals, the Ferrari LaFerrari, joined by the Porsche 918 Spyder six months later, in Frankfurt. The hypercar is being offered in a two-door coupe body style and it has a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine has been upgraded and it is now rated at 727 HP and 719 Nm of torque, backed up by an in-house developed electric motor, adding an extra 176 HP and 260 Nm of torque. The total output sent to the rear wheels, through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. The P1 needs just 2.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and it can go up to a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
