The Nissan GT-R is probably one of the hottest cars to make its way onto the market thanks to its incredible performance and starting price and now the model is being placed into the spotlights probably one last time until a new generation will make its way onto the market in a few years. The “Megafactories” series made by National Geographic will take you behind the scenes of producing the Nissan GT-R in Japan, next month.
As a quick reminder, the 2013 Nissan GT-R has a base starting price set at 96,820 USD in the United States and the sports car is coming with some interesting items compared to the previous model year, but the most important upgrade is the extra power offered by the V6 engine. According to the Japanese based automaker, the 2013 Nissan GT-R is still getting the 3.8 liter V6 unit which is now developing a total output of 545 HP, with a peak torque of 627 Nm (463 lb-ft), 15 HP and 15 lb-ft (20 Nm) more than the previous version.
