Acura has recently released a brand new video with the upcoming NSX prototype, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 4th of August.
After it has released the first teaser image with the model, just a few days ago, the Japanese based automaker Acura is now placing the new NSX prototype into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video. The footage posted below is showing the new Acura NSX on a race track, in the rain, and despite the fact that it’s only a few seconds long, you can also hear its engine roar and there is even a drift part.
The 2015 Acura NSX will be based on the updated NSX Concept, which was officially unveiled back in January, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), in Detroit. The model in question has new headlights, restyled air intakes and larger side mirrors. The pre-production prototype will be officially unveiled on the 4th of August, at the Mid-Ohio Indy 200 and it should be powered by a V6 mid-mounted engine, backed up by two electric motors, powering the front wheels. More details on the new Acura NSX are limited for the moment.
