Alpina has recently released two new videos with the B3 and XD3, showing the models in action.
After the brand new Alpina B3 and Alpina XD3 have been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, earlier this month, in a world premiere, time has come for the two models to be placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some videos, which are showing them in action. The Alpine B3 is coming in two body styles, sedan or wagon, and it’s powered by a 3.0 liter straight six-cylinder gasoline twin-turbo engine, which is good for 410 HP (301 kW) and 598 Nm of torque (442 lb-ft).
This is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration of just 4.2 seconds and a 305 km/h (191 mph) top speed. Fuel consumption stands at 7.9 L / 100 km (35.8 mpg UK / 29.8 mpg US). The Alpina XD3 is the first X-Series model made by the company and it’s coming with a 3.0L straight six diesel twin-turbo engine, generating 350 HP (257 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). The model can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 253 km/h. Fuel consumption stands at 6.8 L / 100 km (34.5 mpg UK / 41.5 mpg US).
