After it was officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere, the brand new Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of Chris Harris, who has went for a spin in the brand new model. The new Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo is based on the BMW 3-Series F30 and it’s coming with a 3.0 liter twin-turbo straight six-cylinder engine, producing a total output of 410 HP (310 kW), between 5,500 rpm and 6,250 rpm, and 590 Nm of torque (442 lb-ft), available at 3,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.2 seconds and top speed stands at 306 km/h. Average fuel consumption stands at 7.6L / 100 km (37.2 mpg UK / 30.9 mpg US).
