The British based automaker Aston Martin has recently released a teaser video with a new model, which is expected to hit the market over the following months.
Aston Martin is currently testing the Vanquish Volante but that doesn’t mean that the video posted below is referring to that model and in fact, in the last frame, we can clearly see a hardtop. This is a good indication that rather than teasing the convertible version of the new Vanquish, the carmaker has decided to focus on promoting another model. Reports are showing that the model in question will be a special edition of the Vantage.
The convertible sports car teased below might be a V12 Vantage Coupe Centenary Edition, in a convertible version, which might indicate the production stop of the vehicle, also celebrating the company’s 100 anniversary. The model might get the same 6.0 liter V12 engine under its hood, which is good for 510 HP (380 kW) and 570 Nm of torque (420 lb-ft) of torque. In the regular V12 Vantage, this is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint of 4.2 seconds and a 305 km/h (190 mph) top speed. Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
